The system is failing the people who make care possible.

Village Care wasn't built in a corporate boardroom. It was born out of the late-night exhaustion, the dead-end waitlists, and the quiet frustration of modern parenting. We are moving past the outrage to build a neighborhood utility that restores economic fairness to educators and deep transparency to families.

DRIVEN BY THE SHARED STRUGGLE

The Spark: when we realized the system was broken

Like thousands of parents, we were told the same thing when looking for childcare: 'Get on a waitlist before you conceive, or get lucky.

When we faced the exhausting reality of corporate childcare—the strict, rigid hours, the astronomical fees, and the crushing commercial center waitlists—we realized something was profoundly broken. The massive, corporate centers are too expensive to build, staff, and maintain, driving an annual staff turnover rate of nearly 100% that disrupts the emotional consistency our children need.

Yet, right in our own neighborhoods, incredible, state-licensed independent providers are operating micro-daycares out of their homes. They are passionate, deeply experienced educators, but they are completely invisible to families because they lack marketing tools, and traditional corporate software eats up to 10% of their weekly revenue.

We realized the solution to the childcare crisis isn't more corporate concrete. It's empowering the independent educators who are already opening their doors to our communities. We built Village Care not just as a platform, but as a promise: to give parents the transparent tools to verify care for themselves, and to give independent providers the business dignity they deserve.

OUR CORE PILLARS

Built for connection, not scrolling.

We reject the outrage loops of traditional social media groups and the transactional coldness of generic lead-generation sites. Village Care is designed strictly for local utility—creating a calm, clear digital space where families can review verified facts and independent providers can run sustainable businesses.

Human-Centric over Outrage Algorithms

Confidence comes from knowing.

We don't ask you to blindly trust a marketing claim. We believe you deserve to see the hard data. Through our objective, fact-based Trust Badge system, we make deep transparency our primary product, allowing you to verify licensing, background checks, and community reviews directly.

Radical Transparency

Stack of dollar bills.

Keeping margins with the makers.

In-home educators are the backbone of early childhood development, yet traditional platforms take predatory cuts of their hard-earned tuition. We keep our infrastructure lean and utilize low-cost Stripe ACH processing to ensure independent providers keep 100% of their marketplace earnings.
